My journey in the financial industry began at the University of Michigan, where I found my passion for financial markets and investing. In 2007, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics and accepted a financial planner position with a regional investment services firm called Hantz Financial. Shortly afterwards, the Great Recession happened. During this difficult market and economy, I found my additional passion – working directly with families and business owners in achieving their financial goals.
As a scholar of this industry, I continue to pursue additional knowledge and expertise that helps me provide comprehensive value to my clients. Since joining the industry, I have obtained a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, become a CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst®) charterholder, and completed the CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™) program.

When not at the office, I am spending time with my beautiful wife Katelyn and our two young boys, Hunter and Owen, as well as our rambunctious aussiedoodle Finn. I enjoy traveling (though having young children does put a damper on this) and exploring new locations, especially ones with historical backgrounds. Throughout the week I strive for daily hikes with Finn at Ute Valley, getting in 9 holes on the golf course, and spending time with the family at Garden of the Gods Club. My sports teams include the Green Bay Packers and Michigan Wolverines. Even though I have a “house divided” since my wife is a Michigan State Spartan, family means everything.
